The website has no info on my gun, this gun is about 9- 10 yrs old. Anyone else know anything at all about the name 'LAURONA EIBAR' Now wait a minute - aren't you asking the wrong question? The website does have information about 'the name Laurona Eibar' - Laurona is the manufacturer, and Eibar is the town in Spain where the company is located. The web site tells a lot about the company. What you apparently need is not info on the name Laurona but info about one particular model of Laurona. You will have to provide a lot more info before the model can be identified.
The Blue Book lists a lot of O/U's by Laurona, and many of them meet your sketchy description. One trigger or two? If one trigger, selective or non-selective? If 2 triggers, will pulling the same trigger twice fire both barrels? Solid, vented, or no ribs between the barrels? Extractors or ejectors?
Fabri fibra guerra e pace download mega. Top rib solid or vented? Barrel finish blued or black chrome? Description of buttplate or recoil pad? Barrel length - are you sure it is 30, or could it be 29? Is there any combination black/white pattern on the receiver, or all nickle?
Pull the barrels off and look for marks on the bottom of the barrels and on the inside of the frame. In particular, look for model numbers or letters, and look for a date code consisting of a capital letter and either a 1 or 2 (like S1 or M2, etc). Describe all marks. Give us some info to work with and we will try to help you identify the model.
By 'we' I mean me and others on this site. I'm a dyslexic agnostic insomniac. I lay awake at night wondering if there is a dog. It has 30' barrels, modified and improved choke, to ivory beads on rib, solid rib between barrels, double triggers, gold plated, lightcolored walnut high figure grain, high gloss finish, nickel reciever,no other colr on reciever, barrels are blued laurona is on underside of action, has a pachmyr decelerator recoil pad, tang saftey, blued top lever break,on the left side of the barrel,it has the name laurona eibar espana 3' magnum. Has a pheasnat engraved on 1 side and duck scene on the other has alot of checkering, under the barrels all i saw was '76' which i think are chamber lengths and some # and the word bars next to them.very well balanced gun. Ill post mor marks if i see any more different 1s, thanks guys for all your help!
I down loaded some new photos Sorry, I'm having a hard time with the photos - still not in focus. It looks to me like photos of two different guns! That said, I think I can see a year proof code of O.1, which would be 1970. The stamp is very light on the barrel marks. The photo of it is as clear as looking at it with a magnifying glass. To me the'O1' looks more like 'Q1.'
That would make the date 1972. Any ideas' as to a model #? I love these Spanish shotguns. I also have a F.
Sarasqueta sidelock O&U. I have a high end Italian SXS by Beernadeli. I hope to trade off for another Spanish gun. There is no comparison betweeen the two nations guns. The Blue Book gives a higher price on the Bernadelli than the Spanish guns but the Basque makers are by far the higher quality in my opinion.
I have the book, SPANISH BEST by Terry Weiland which is a real good work.
