Agree with other comments here, our dishwasher was amazing when working but. I'd NEVER buy one again.

We only use the dishwasher at weekends when we have a big crowd over and our dishwasher is like brand new inside and out in its appearance, even the technician agreed it's had little use. Now that the electrics have gone will cost more to fix than get a new one. We don't consider we have had our money's worth out of this appliance. It probably wouldn't have been used more than 20 times. AVOID AT ALL COSTS Never buy Blanco. I thought they were a superior brand.NO NO NO Purchased.

Originally I thought this was a fantastic buy, my first ever Dishwasher. Used nicely for less than 6 month and then it was placed into Storage for 12 months (due to an overseas posting). Only had it back for less than 8 months and the electrical cord needs to be replaced (it's tripped all my power) had a sparky come check it out. He advised it will be cheaper to get repaired than to replace the Dishwasher.

I feel a little Ripped off to be honest. Its not a cheap washer, so I would have thought it would of lasted a good 7 plus years before any sort of problems (if not any). I still have had no response or reply from BLANCO, not very good Customer Service if you ask me. I score a 4 Star on the appearance, functions, quietness and I'm hoping if I repair the cord it will give me no more issues (one can only hope), otherwise a standard 3. We purchased our dishwasher to compliment the new kitchen in Nov 2011 Due to building issues it wasn't installed until Mar 2012 so as of today it has had about 6 months use every second day. It freezes during cycles and currently wont run through any mode.

Quite often i have had to cancel the program and switch off the machine for 24 hours to reset it before i can start it again. One time it sat there stuck part way through a cycle humming away to itself for 12 hours while we were out - lucky it didn't burn the house down. I will not leave the machine unattended now due to fears that it will catch alight or do something drastic. I will be switching back to Dishlex once they are on sale again after christmas. I noticed someone mentioned quiet. Ours sounds like a freight train at full speed.

I have had 4 dishwashers (different brands) over the years and this is the noisest i have encountered. On the plus side, when it washes, it does a reasonable job and the adjustable drawers are a good feature. Our old dishwasher died a few months ago and we were hesitant to spend a lot of money on a new one as we will be selling our house soon.

I did a lot of research into the cheaper models - under $500 and although they looked good on specs, when I saw them in person, they were cheap and nasty. This one was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I'm so happy I did. I love the functionality of the baskets.

Ge Dishwasher Manual

The top basket is height adjustable and has an additional piece that can be moved around to secure long stem glasses firmly. The lower baskets back racks lie flat at the touch of a button for pots and pans and there is an additional rack/shelf attached to the back of the basket that flips up and is perfect for big sharp knives that won't fit in the cutlery basket. The 1 hour normal wash cycle is a dream for when your time poor or if like me, you use every dish in the house when you cook and it takes multiple loads to clean them all. The dishes come out lovely and clean even when my husband stacks it (he doesn't rinse) and they are dry except for the plastics.

My one complaint is the anti flood device fitted to the water inlet hose is about 3 inchs high and will not fit though a normal access hole, but that aside, this is an excellent machine at a great price. I did a lot of online research to replace my Whirlpool which had died after three years. Most of the new dishwashers take two hours or more to do a proper wash cycle.

Most that have short cycles only rinse, or don't dry. I'm too busy and have too many dishes to wait two hours plus for a cycle to complete. This Blanco is one of few dishwashers that has a 1 hour cycle. It gets the dishes very clean in that time, and the dishes are also dry. It has a very cool large knife rack and the interior space is well designed and I seem to be able to get more in it. They only downside is that the cutlery container lid doesn't fit ANY of my cutlery. It's nothing fancy - just Matthew Williams but the bottoms and tops of all knives, forks and spoons are too wide to fit in the lid sections.

So I have had to take the lid off. It still works but you don't get the separation that ensures a proper clean. The price for a European appliance was cheap ($610 at The Good Guys).

This easy care, fuss-free dishwasher came with my 'off the plan' apartment, along with several other Blanco branded appliances - washing machine, dryer, microwave, induction cook top, and oven. It just gets on with the job without any demands or fuss. Just the occasional filter clean keeps it happy.

I am happy to recommend this brand of dishwasher. By the way - don't follow the package directions for dishwasher powders - anything more than a teaspoon is excessive, and will just glug up the works. Got this dishwasher 4 years ago with new house package.

Cleans dishes well on all cycles, usually use eco or normal setting. In the past i cleaned it every couple of months with finish cleaner, or sometimes just vinegar on hottest cycle. Recently pump got blocked for first time (had not cleaned for ages). Fixed it with emptying nearly all the water in the bottom by hand then pouring 2 cups of clr in. Pump sucked enough in to clear it and its back working fine.

If u try this watch out for lots of foam, which u need to remove by hand. This would be the worst electrical product we have ever purchased. The salesman at SECONDS WORLD talked me into the purchase which I now deeply regret. We have tried everything possible to prevent the spread of small food particles spreading across everything stacked in the washer to no avail. As has been stated already these machines are rubbish. DO NOT BUY ONE! I was looking at Westinghouse until the SECONDS WORLD salesman did a job on me.

Now i am seriously thinking of cutting my losses and going back to my original leanings and tossing the Blanco on the footpath. BE WARNED these machines do not clean properly. We too, got our dishwasher in the appliance package with our Coral Home over 4 years ago. We have just had it leaking after it went through a cycle and would not start another cycle. Came across a site on net that said it may have gone into flood mode ( which am sure it had) and suggested we tilt it backwards on a 45 degree angle to drain the excess water out - have done so and now has gone through a complete cycle - all good.

As someone else has said, we are disappointed about the front going slightly rusty looking, but does clean up with stainless cleaner. As `slobbythegreat' said, we put a cleaner through regularly and use a rinse-aid.

Overall, happy with the product. This was part of the package that was included in our Coral home that we built. We've had it now for 6 years and the only problem i have is the handle cracked. I found these reviews after trying to find a kit. We've had no issues except it leaked once but that was because i overloaded it and the door wasnt shut properly. Seriously guys, if you take care of your censored word removed nothing will go wrong. I put Finish cleaner through it every few months and wipe it down with the stainless steel wipes when it gets dirty.

It cleans the dishes fine on all cycles though i only put it on when its full. We've been living with the popping, farting and intermittent Blanco dishwasher since early 2012 - and since leaving out old rental with a Simpson dishwasher we are really sorry to see that one go! The Simpson was small, smelly and the dish racks constantly fell out of their rails - but by great googly moogly did it wash the plates and with so much vigour! This Blanco that's fitted with the rental has been looked after as it should but by god is it a pain in the rear! We use the same washing powder that we have been for the last 4 years and have noticed that the dishes do not wash?

The dishwasher seems to have no real power in the wash cycle? The filter in the bottom is cleaned regularly and whatever else filters down gets cleaned up - but we continually get dirty dishes as it seems that the sprayers dont seem to get to the dishes like the Simpson managed? I noticed that people complain about the handle cracking - ours hasn't done yet - however the owner of the property never took off the plastic coating off the stainless fascia, and water made its way behind it causing corrosion.

I have managed to keep it pretty close to stopped as I can with CRC 808 silicone spray which brings up any stainless steel back to near new. The Blanco isnt turned on at night any more due to the noise that it puts out with pop's, fart sounds and just takes forever to clean! It will turn on and then off and carry on for a little longer and stop - just when you think that its done - it'll carry on again? Also the washer does not turn off after the cycle - the lights remain on 'all night' - now thats another issue that we're worried about this washer, with all those washers that caught alight this is a feature that seems pretty poorly designed! Wouldn't you think that after a cycle that the washer would go to sleep or turn off?

Nope just stays on. This is why we run it during the day or early morn to avoid a fire hazard! Painfully were stick with it and thats the reality of it - or until we move.

The dishwasher is now 3.9 years old. After 18 months the door handle had to be replaced because it is cheap plastic and it cracked ( a common complaint apparently - then fix it Blanco) and the top of the front panel had to be replaced.

After 2 years the inside of the washer is rusting and all the cutlery comes out covered in rust stains. After 2.5 years the top rail plastic clips broke and the top tray would just slide right out and if you weren't on the ball to grab it in time - too bad. It cost us $59.00 to fix the clips - 4 little bits of plastic and they stung us $11.00 for postage which would have cost them $2.00 at the most. And now the plastic handle has cracked again and is dangerous, if you accidently get your hand caught in the crack, watch out. We had a problem with ours since new (Had parts replaced under warranty a total of 4 times, although many times had to wait up to 1 month for the parts). Finally after a recurring problem we were able to get it replaced with a new but same model dishwasher but guess what.

After 3 weeks the problem we had with the 1st dishwasher had come back to haunt us!! Will never buy blanco again. I do have to say though that Blancos customer service was excellent as they replaced the 1st dishwasher even though it was 1 year out of warranty. Cons: Cycles take too long The Eco cycle doesn't even wash properly - only use the intense cycle don't bother with he other 3 The dishes do not dry properly and u end up hand wiping them It's noisey Leaves unsightly finger prints on the outside Pro: The name? I thought would've suggested quality?

Built a new house 2 1/2 years ago. Just discovered the dishwasher is leaking and need to replace 1/2 our kitchen (hopefully insurance company will come to the party) We have five Blanco products that came with our house.

Electronic ignition on gas cooktop for one burner did not work from day one. Took about 4 weeks to fix, microwave has died twice and oven has had to have the element replaced. Exhaust fan light globe blew one night and it was that loud am expecting to find glass shards when I replace it. Have told my husband I will never have another Blanco product in our house. Only good thing I have to say is it cleans the dishes well. We've had this model dishwasher for just on 2 years. It came with the Coral Homes house we had built.

We only use it when we have a large dinner party. Regardless of how little or often we use it, the front panel has 'rusted' so bad, that we are considering removing the whole damned thing and putting a storage unit in it's place. My question is. Is it 'really stainless steel they use or just a poor quality polished plain steel' It really does look disgusting. What with this problem and problems we have had with other Blanco products, I doubt they will be around for much longer. 65x dishwasher is only 4 years old stopped working - and like others, handle has broken as well.

Agent in Perth (Metropolitan Service Appliance in Myaree) does not understand service - they have strung me along for 7 weeks about the arrival of parts and have just advised me a new PCB (costing $300) has arrived and can be installed next week if I can be home on Tuesday - they can't give me a time, but on Monday will call to let me know whether it will be morning or afternoon, so I will have to give up another half a day (third one I've had to set aside for them!) to be available for them to do the job! Seems I have to fit their schedule and don't feel they have any concept of customer service.

Am considering just buying a new dishwasher, because if the Blanco needs a new PCB after only 4 years I fear this might be only the beginning of further problems and a sinkhole! Performed ok when working, but don't like the poor back up. This is the worst dishwasher I have ever had.

Its noisy & getting worse, it stops & starts 20 times now before it starts to work. The door handle broke twice while under warranty & had to be replaced, its now 4 years old & the handle has snapped off again. We are now looking for another dishwasher to replace this piece of censored word removed. You would expect to get at least 10 years out of an appliance, but not Blanco.

We have purchased 2 more expensive Blanco's for our office over the past 4 years and both machines failed & had to be replaced with the 3 to 4 years. We brought brand new house and this blanco dishwasher came with it. Worked ok for 6 months. Door handle cracked. Started blinking all led. Still we continue to use it.

Take toooooo looooong to finish cycle in any mode. We call company they suggested another service provider. We called them. Ask to pay $84.00 call out fee than $16 for every 10 Minutes PLUS parts mostly circuit board which is $287.00 So we tried to fix it our self. The relay looked gone so brought from ebay for $5.99 replaced and worked for one complete cycle. Than totally dead.

All internal parts very cheap. Third class quality all around.

Now we will buy new one absolutely not the fc.Blanco. NEVER BUY BLANCO. The worst ever appliance we got with ohuse not purchased.
